Teaching Assistant – Year R Class – Lovely Primary School in Gosport
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their first steps at school? We are a friendly and welcoming primary school in Gosport looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our Year R team.
Start Date: September 2025 (with the option to start earlier in June if available)
Location: Gosport
Contract: Full-time / Part-time considered (please specify in your application)
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in our Year R class, you will play a vital role in supporting our Reception children with their learning and development. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, help create a nurturing environment, and support individual children’s needs.

Has experience or a keen interest in early years education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
