Do you have ambitions of becoming a primary school teacher? Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a large primary school in Chorley, they have a temporary position for a teaching assistant (ideally graduate level) to work in their support staff team for the remainder of this academic year. As a graduate teaching assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other members of the support staff team to provide pupils with a great level of support and opportunity to further understand their subject and confidence within lessons. Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable, however graduates with a strong academic record and a passion for working with children will be considered, highlights of this position include;

- Full time position starting ASAP (on going supply)

- Graduate teaching assistant , any subject background considered

- Primary school in the PR7 area of Chorley

- Supportive environment, working within a range of lessons

- Opportunity to secure a school based contract

- IDEAL for aspiring secondary teachers

Situated in the Chorley area of Lancashire, this is a full time position working as a teaching assistant within a large team. You will work directly to the school’s SENCO, being involved in lessons and taking responsibility for your own groups of children. A degree in a subject related to schools would be ideal, however the school are happy to consider graduates with experience working with children and the commitment to making a difference.
