A Primary School in Newbury (RG14) are requiring a FQT to join their team as an Intervention Teacher to assist their pupils in raising learning and attainment levels throughout the academic year.

They are ideally looking for a full time Primary specialist Fully Qualified Teacher to plan and deliver tailored intervention sessions in small groups and on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis across KS1 and KS2. It would be beneficial have good, recent experiences across all year groups to deliver intervention across the whole school, as well as having Read, Write, Inc training (although this is not a necessity).

The successful teacher will be someone who is experienced and flexible, with recent experiences and success in rasing pupil attainment and confidence. The school are looking for someone to have a genuine interest in developing their learning and ability levels.

You will be required to tailor planning to each group/individual, complete individual Pupil Progress Reports and have high communication skills to liaise with the class teachers, as well as be energetic and engaging for pupils to enjoy learning and to exceed their learning abilities!
