Contract: Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

 

A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Halewood is seeking a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their dedicated team. The school prides itself on fostering a supportive and stimulating environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. With a strong emphasis on preparing children for their transition to secondary education, the school offers a broad and balanced curriculum alongside a range of enrichment opportunities.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching to a Year 6 class, ensuring pupils achieve their full academic potential and are well prepared for the next stage of their education. This role requires someone who is skilled in differentiating learning, managing a busy classroom, and building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. The Year 6 Teacher will also contribute to the wider school community and support whole-school initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for all children.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be confident in preparing pupils for SATs
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and high expectations for pupil behaviour and achievement
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of a diverse cohort
  • Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with parents and staff
