Schedule: Full Time

Start Date: October 2025

Location: Prescot (L34)

Pay Rate: £120-£232.56 per day (depending on experience)

 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive primary school located in Prescot. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a Year 6 class through a crucial stage of their primary education. This includes preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), supporting their academic progress, and nurturing their personal development. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to ensure that every child reaches their full potential and feels supported both academically and emotionally. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils as they prepare to transition to secondary school.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have a clear understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
  • Be confident in planning, preparing and delivering engaging and progressive lessons
  • Be committed to supporting the academic and emotional development of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
