Role Specification
A new opportunity has arrived for an experienced Primary School Teacher (Year 5) in the centre of Islington (EC1V) - located just a 5 minute walk from Old Street Station. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and maintain the high standards of attainment in this school! This particular role is leading a class of just 20 pupils. With plenty of PPA hours, you will also benefit from being joined by 2 outstanding LSAs in the class. The highly skilled and passionate staff and governors of the school believe that it is essential in providing a welcoming, bright, happy and thriving school environment for all.
What we're after
- The ideal candidate must be a FQT/OTT and hold recognisable QTS.
- Be accustomed to the National Teaching Curriculum
- Be creative and committed in providing a fun, stimulating and safe environment that can be sustained through the long term
- Maintain high standards of education - in compliance with the school's Ofsted status.
- Strong behaviour management

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
