A Primary School in the Peacehaven area are currently recruiting a Year 5 Teacher to begin in September. This role will initially be just for term 1; however there is the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. The school is 2 form entry and is situated in a good location for public transport, there is also roadside parking available nearby. They are ideally looking for someone who has recent experience as a full time class teacher, particularly in upper KS2, there is also a high percentage of SEN pupils in the school so SEN experience would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualities:

  • Experience in teaching KS2 (particularly years 5 and 6)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and passionate about teaching
  • Willing to go above and beyond expectations to raise attainment
  • Creative and imaginative, always thinking of new ways to make learning fun
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • The skills to adapt teaching and learning to suit a range of different abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
