A Northampton based primary school are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their large multicultural community from Easter or sooner.

The school is fortunate to have multiple facilities including an EAL/SEN teaching base, specialist Music and PE, an astro turf and laptops for all years.

Senior leaders at the school are working extremely hard to improve the school and there is now a trend positive of development throughout the school across numerous areas. The school has a creative and broad curriculum to ensure all pupils can progress through a variety of learning programmes.

The school has average results for reading and Maths however writing results are above national average. Staff across all year groups are working hard to continue the positive progress of students at the school.

This post would suit a Primary Teacher who can motivate pupils of all abilities and engage learners in the classroom. As there is a large population of students whose first language is not English, the successful candidate needs to be able to support students and differentiation resources to different levels. This permanent Year 5 Primary role would be suitable for qualified teachers with a range of experience across Key Stage 2, who can drive progress and maintain high quality teaching.
