Year 5 Teacher - Bury

Due to a longer than anticipated absence of the Year 5 teacher, a small primary school in Whitefield, Bury requires an experienced FQT or NQT who has recently worked in Key Stage 2. This role will start on the 15th April and carry on until the end of the academic year.

  • Full time, fixed term contract
  • Experienced or Newly Qualified Year 6 teachers considered
  • Start date - 15th April 2019
  • Whitefield, Bury (M45)
  • Smaller than average Primary School

Maintaining the primary schools well renowned high standards and fully immersing the schools unique character and lifestyle is imperative to being successful here. At an important stage of the children's education, the incoming Year 5 teacher will need to have the utmost commitment and dedication to this post, taking on full time responsibilities including, planning. Marking, data entry, parents evening, continual assessments etc.

In return, the management and whole school are ready to offer the successful Year 5 teacher extensive and regular support to carry on the classes high levels of progression.

  • Salary (£22,467 - £38,250)
  • High achieving school with excellent support network
  • (90% of pupils making at least 2 levels of progress in writing last year in KS2)
  • Great transport links to the school
