Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to build confidence and gain experience across a variety of secondary schools? Or are you an experienced Cover Supervisor seeking flexible work in South Yorkshire?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Doncaster.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff following each lesson.
  • Build experience in a variety of school settings.

No planning or marking is required, making this an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree or relevant qualification.
  • Confident communication and strong classroom presence.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • An adaptable and professional approach.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
