Job description

Role: Graduate Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in mainstream secondary schools across Blackburn and Lancashire.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a future in teaching, teacher training, educational psychology, or other education-related careers, and want to gain hands-on experience in a school environment.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task throughout the lesson.

No teaching qualification is required, making this an ideal stepping stone into education for recent graduates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
