Year 5 Teaching Assistant in South Bristol
A friendly and welcoming school in South Gloucestershire is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP until the end of the academic year.
The school is passionate about enabling pupils to reach their full potential and focuses on creating a welcoming environment that promotes positivity in all areas.
The role is to support a Year 5 pupil on a 1:1 basis, who has specific educational needs. Please note that some element of personal care may be involved.
You will also be responsible for providing feedback to the class teacher to ensure pupil progress is monitored.
The successful candidate will have:
- Have previous experience of working with children
- Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential
- Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the school and enhance their learning
- Must have experience of working with pupils and will have had experience of working within the education sector and with multi-agencies.
- Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
