A lovely two form entry mainstream school in Islington, N1 are looking for a Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team in March.

The school community is very mixed and this makes us strong. We speak many languages and come from many different faiths and cultures. We bring a wide variety of experience and knowledge to school, and celebrate this both through the curriculum, and through regular community events. The school offers excellent education and links with external schools and stakeholders.

The school is located in the heart of Islington, walking distance from Angel and Old Street stations (Northern line). The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and continues to excel.

The role:

Year 4 Class Teacher

Type: Full-time

Salary: £2300-2500 monthly

Experience in KS2, Year 4 preferably

  • Clear and thorough understanding of the curriculum
  • Secure knowledge and skills relating to strategies in working with pupils of all achievement levels.
  • An interest, motivation and passion for working with special needs children and developing skills to facilitate this
  • Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
