Job Title: Year 4 Teacher

Location: NG12 Area

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming school community located in the NG12 area. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and possess the skills to engage and inspire young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and tailored to the needs of Year 4 students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development opportunities, and staff meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on Key Stage 2 or Year 4 preferred.
  • Sound understanding of the national curriculum and proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
