Teaching Personnel are helping recruit a Teaching Assistant for a fantastic primary school based in Dewsbury. The role has arisen due to a resignation. The position will be in one of the year 3 classes.
This 2 form entry Primary school has been graded "GOOD" by OFSTED in 2016 and continues to lead by example in all aspects. The head teacher has been described as a "magnificent teacher that leads by example " and "has been a key factor in ensuring the school reaches the standards required for pupils to excel in learning." Due to this the school is a very sought after school to work at. This is the perfect opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to gain experience and learn a lot from working in a "GOOD" school.
The role will involve working in the lower ability class of the two year 3 classes. As well as general TA work in supporting the teacher in class, the role will also require small group with the pupils in Maths, English and Reading. Experience in Key Stage 2 is a preference but not a necessity as the school has stated the right personality and attitude will go a long way as long as the candidate has previous experience with working in the class room in a Primary school.
