Learning support assistant needed in progressive Primary school in Oxford

• Be a part of a team dedicated to both learning and emotional development
• Support children with SEMH, autism and other learning difficulties
• Have the opportunity to progress within the school with CPD

I am currently looking for a learning support assistant for an improving Primary school in the Blackbird Leys area of Oxford. The school are looking for someone to join them after Easter to work across their Key Stage Two classes.

The school are looking for a candidate who has good levels of experience working in Primary schools, and is passionate about child development. Previous experience supporting students with SEN or challenging situations within a school is preferred as the school has a higher percentage of students with SEMH, autism and MLD and will need someone who can really support children in the class with these additional needs. Candidates must also be adaptable and proactive to fit into the schools ethos. Your main responsibility will be to maintain a good learning environment and to support the pupils on a group or one to one basis outside the classroom.
