Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is looking for a skilled and experienced Year 3 Teaching Assistant for a school in the Exmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of primary education who can make a real difference to pupils’ learning and development.

What we are looking for:

• Has extensive, previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences for Year 3 pupils
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to help children reach their learning goals
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and displays
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting good behaviour and a love of learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
