Day to day Primary School Teacher? Supply? Pre-booked work?

  • QTS is a necessity.
  • A proven track record working in Primary schools is required!
  • Flexible and committed practitioners are welcome to apply.

Are you a newly or fully qualified teacher? Are you looking for a role to begin in September? Would you like to get into different schools in order to boost confidence or experience? Then look no further than Teaching Personnel…As an agency we provide opportunities for teaching staff to work in a number of Primary settings and with this, boost classroom experience and behaviour management. Whether you are a newly or fully qualified teacher, there will be opportunities across the Lancashire area in KS1 and KS2.

The expectation for supply staff in schools is….

- Be punctual and arrive on time! You never know they may be looking to appoint a permanent member of staff.

- Follow lesson plans or run with your own work! If a school needs cover at short notice there may not be work set, therefore having lessons to run with would be beneficial.

- Ensure you are professional and utilise a range of behaviour management techniques. We always collect feedback from schools and candidates regarding there time in school.

-Feedback any issues to the class teacher or to the senior leaders in school.

Teaching Personnel will always ensure local work is offered to you and you are given as much time as possible to get to the school and prepare yourself for the working day. We will also offer advice and information on the school catchment area to ensure you are comfortable in going into school and you are 100% suitable whether you are a Key Stage 1 or a Key Stage 2 Practitioner. As part of the supply day, we will ensure that verbal feedback is taken from Senior Leaders/Business Managers and fed back to you as soon as possible.

We have a number of opportunities for short term work in the autumn term. Do not wait to contact me! Rates of pay for roles of this nature vary from £90-£120 per day dependant upon experience.

In order to apply for this type of work you MUST have QTS.
