Outstanding Primary School in Harlesden seeking KS2 teacher

  • £130 - £140 per day, depending on experience
  • Outstanding Primary School with supportive senior leadership team
  • Full-time position, term time only

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on the behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Harlesden and they are in need of an exceptional KS2 teacher who is able to hit the ground running immediately. The school has a diverse community in which many languages, cultures and religions learn together. This fantastic school ensure that all children are confident, self-believing and life long learners and they create an environment where curiosity is welcomed. This is a large primary school that has three-form entry across KS1 and four-form entry in upper KS2. This is an extremely supportive school that encourages members of staff to work collaboratively and to share ideas.

About the Role

This is a full-time classroom teacher role in year 3. You will be expected to prepare the learning resources and materials, work closely with your colleagues to prepare and plan lessons in accordance to the national curriculum, track pupil’s attainment and provide feedback.

The ideal candidate:

•Newly Qualified Teacher or Fully Qualified Teacher Status

•At least 1 years experience teaching in Key Stage 2

•Excellent classroom management skills

•Sound knowledge of the national curriculum

•Personable, charismatic and able to work well in a team

•A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application

•A proven track record of raising pupil attainment
