On behalf of one of our client schools, Teaching Personnel are seeking a fully qualified KS2 teacher for a full time role within an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school within the West Gateshead area. The schools most recent report shows clear progress and they are looking to continue this with the appointment of a new Year 3/4 teacher. This role will be a full time primary teaching role within a year 3/4 class commencing in September 2019.
The school is well catered for by local transport services and is held in high regard throughout the local community. Accordingly, the school are looking for a teacher who can provide the best provision for the children under their care, whilst maintaining the highest of standards they expect of staff.
The Role
- Full time role commencing in September 2019
- Year 3/4 class of around 30 pupils
- Able to plan fun, engaging and differentiated lessons for learners of all abilities
- Make a positive contribution to the wider school community
- Developing all learners on an intellectual, emotional and social level.
- Competitive salary based on experience, earning between £500 and £700 weekly
Candidate Requirements:
The school are looking for a strong candidate; it is essential they have clear experience of working within KS2, preferably within year 3 and 4. It is also highly desirable that the right candidate will have a subject specialism and some SEN experience.
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) within the UK
- Have recent and relevant teaching experience within KS2, ideally year 3 or 4
- Strong behaviour management skills to successfully control the classroom
- Be willing to contribute to the wider school environment
- Deliver creative, engaging and group-specific lessons
- Be a reflective practitioner who believes in periodically reviewing teaching practise to ensure they are consistent
