We are currently recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional guidance to access education and reach their full potential.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support students with communication, social and emotional development
- Help manage behaviour positively and consistently
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Pupils may have needs including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Moderate to severe learning difficulties
- Speech, language and communication needs
We Are Looking For
- Experience working in SEN settings (school, care, youth work or similar)
- A calm, patient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
