Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a, long-term role in a supportive primary school?

We are working with a well-regarded school in Blackpool seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 class from November 2025. This is a classroom-based role with ongoing responsibilities, offering the chance to make a real impact on pupils' progress.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in a Year 2 class with their learning and development
• Delivering small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy
• Assisting with classroom routines, displays, and pupil engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider KS1 team
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a primary school setting (KS1 preferred)
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
