Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Year 3 Support

 Hours: Full-time, term-time only

I'm currently recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to support a Year 3 class starting after the October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 2.

Role Overview:

• Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning.
• Provide small group and 1:1 support where needed.
• Support children’s academic and social development.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent).
• Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS2.
• Be patient, reliable, and adaptable to classroom needs.
• Be confident supporting pupils of varying abilities.
• Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
