Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Year 3 Support
Location: Blackpool

Year Group: Year 3
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
I'm currently recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to support a Year 3 class starting after the October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 2.
Role Overview:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning.
- Provide small group and 1:1 support where needed.
- Support children’s academic and social development.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent).
- Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS2.
- Be patient, reliable, and adaptable to classroom needs.
- Be confident supporting pupils of varying abilities.
- Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
