We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This role involves supporting teaching and learning in a Year 1 classroom, starting after the October half term.

Role Overview

• Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning and development.
• Provide small group and 1:1 support tailored to individual needs.
• Encourage children’s academic progress and social confidence.
• Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Have experience working with young children, ideally within Key Stage 1.
• Be patient, dependable, and responsive to the needs of the class.
• Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and backgrounds.
• Understand and follow safeguarding procedures effectively.
