Early Years Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are proud to be hiring for three Early Years Teaching Assistants on behalf of a partner school in South Shore, Blackpool.
About the role:
- Supporting the new cohort of Early Years pupils with the transition to Primary school life.
- Assisting the class teacher with daily routines, activities, and learning objectives.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support for children who may need extra help.
- Encouraging social development and fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment.
- Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom setting.
About you:
- Experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery setting is essential.
- A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education) is highly desirable.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
