About the role:

• Supporting the new cohort of Early Years pupils with the transition to Primary school life.
• Assisting the class teacher with daily routines, activities, and learning objectives.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support for children who may need extra help.
• Encouraging social development and fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment.
• Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom setting.

About you:

• Experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery setting is essential.
• A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education) is highly desirable.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
