  • Salary: MPS1 to UPS3
  • Start Date: September 2020

Duration: full academic year with potential for a permanent contract

A Year 2 Teacher is required for a two-form entry primary school based near Tottington, Bury. The ‘Good’ (Ofsted rated) school are recruiting for a proactive Year 2 Teacher with previous SAT’s prep experience. Please find further details below:

Year 2 Teacher role:

  • Responsible for ensuring pupils reach or exceed their targets and continued preparation for the SATs.
  • Assessing student’s levels and putting in place appropriate development plans to ensure they are at or above target.
  • To work with pupils from a multitude of backgrounds, inviting strong differentiation skills.

School Information:

  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’

  • Is inclusive, creating provisions for a range of SEN needs
  • Students are well behaved as a result of strong leadership

Year 2 Teacher role requires for you to have the following:

  • QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Have an up to date DBS or be willing to get one
  • Creativity and a knowledge of the key stage
