Year 2 Teacher
- Role: Year 2 Teacher
- Location: Bury (BL8)
- Salary: MPS1 to UPS3
- Start Date: September 2020
Duration: full academic year with potential for a permanent contract
A Year 2 Teacher is required for a two-form entry primary school based near Tottington, Bury. The ‘Good’ (Ofsted rated) school are recruiting for a proactive Year 2 Teacher with previous SAT’s prep experience. Please find further details below:
Year 2 Teacher role:
- Responsible for ensuring pupils reach or exceed their targets and continued preparation for the SATs.
- Assessing student’s levels and putting in place appropriate development plans to ensure they are at or above target.
- To work with pupils from a multitude of backgrounds, inviting strong differentiation skills.
School Information:
- Ofsted graded ‘Good’
- Actively works with local charities
- Is inclusive, creating provisions for a range of SEN needs
- Students are well behaved as a result of strong leadership
Year 2 Teacher role requires for you to have the following:
- QTS or an overseas equivalent
- Have an up to date DBS or be willing to get one
- Creativity and a knowledge of the key stage
- NQTs are welcome to apply for this role
