KS1 teacher required for September position- Blackpool Primary School

  • CPD Opportunities
  • *BLACKPOOL*
  • Due to an unexpected absence in our client’s KS1 department, there is a need for a qualified KS1 teacher to join them from September for the full Autumn term, though this is likely to continue for the duration of the academic year.

- Well facilitated primary school, short distance from centre of Blackpool

- Judged to be Ofsted ‘GOOD’ across all areas

- Full time post as a Year 2 teacher, September 2017 start

- Earn in line with your teaching scale point (all levels of experience welcome to apply)

Our client is an average sized Primary School serving Blackpool, with a vast majority of children arriving in school with lower than average academic abilities. The School was most recently judged to be Good by Ofsted and has consistently raised standards in the past four years since its last inspection. The progress made by children from EYFS to Y6 is GOOD for Reading Writing and Maths. The school is located in the centre of Blackpool.

“We are looking to appoint a Year 2 teacher to join us on a temporary basis from September, initially for the first term though this could be extended. The incoming KS1 teacher will take responsibility for the planning and delivery of all Curriculum areas and lessons, so applicants with experience delivering the KS1 Curriculum to a high standard is advantageous. The incoming teacher will be supported by the Head of Key Stage and will benefit from an extensive CPD partnership.”

Any KS1 teachers wishing to apply, must hold QTS or similar and have a relevant teaching based qualification.
