A role as a Year 1 Teaching Assistant has become available in a nurturing school in the Chigwell area. The school is offering the role a Year 1 TA from May half term and will be, in the first instance, a temporary role. For the right Year 1 TA, there is a possibility for more permanent position becoming available.

As a Year 1 TA, you must comply with the following;

Effective target setting for children and an understanding of personalised learning are key competencies for this position.
You should have a range of effective behaviour technique strategies that can be employed in the classroom.
The successful candidate will hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
You will need confidence and a positive can-do' attitude and philosophy.

This a friendly school where several previous candidates from Teaching Personnel have taken full time roles and have told us they are very happy. Ofsted rated the School as good' on their last visit. The school is in a highly diverse area of London and many children enter with below average language skills, however the staff are justifiably proud of their record of progression for these and all pupils at the school. 

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
