A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a lower Key Stage 1 (Year 1) to start in FEB for a long term position which could lead to a permanent placement.
The school has recently been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is in the South Elmseall area of Wakefield, the school has a supportive team and looking for an enthusiastic practitioner looking to be a part of a school which is a big part of the local community. All members of staff work hard to support children’s next steps, progression and attainment. Subject leaders work hard to support across the school and key actions have been successfully targeted.
Candidates with all ranges of experience are encouraged to apply, including NQT’s.
Traveling to the school is just 10 minutes drive from the A638 and also has good public transport links.
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training.
