Full time Key Stage 1 Teacher, Northamptonshire

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working with an exceptional Primary School in Corby who are currently looking for a Key stage 1 teacher on a full time, temporary basis.

This school are looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational candidate to continue to maintain a positive learning environment that has been part of the schools ethos for many years. The learning opportunities provided by the school, enable students to positively contribute to an ever changing society, developing values and characteristics to be successful in their chosen careers. Additionally, the school have recently been awarded a Gold mark in the Sainsbury's School games, and Silver in the Youth Sports Trust quality mark.

The appropriate candidate will be enthusiastic, inspirational and above all, possess passion and understanding for teaching students of Key Stage 1. Furthermore, the right candidate will be reliable and consistent with their teaching, continuing to create a community feel within the classroom.

The position is:

  • Hours: 32.5 hours a week, full time
  • Wage/Salary: ÂŁ125-ÂŁ150, dependant on skill
  • September Start
  • To teach the primary curriculum to Key Stage 1

Working as a teacher you will be responsible for the following tasks

  • Preparing and marking schoolwork
  • Preparing learning resources
  • Providing feedback and assistance to students
  • Completing records and reviewing students progress

To be a successful candidate you will need to:

  • Be a qualified teacher holding QTS with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
  • Have knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum
  • Have excellent team working skills
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Be able to communicate confidently with pupils and parents alike
