KS1 (YR1) Teacher - SEN Experience needed

School and Role Details A mainstream School based In Chertsey are looking for a Primary Teacher (KS1) to work in their SEN unit with ASD learners. The school caters for students aged 5-11 and is a mainstream school with an SEN provision.

The role will be based in a year 1 class, the pupils in the class all have ASD and the pupils are physically active and may show some challenging behaviour. The school also want a teacher who has experience using PECS.

The ideal candidate will have the appropriate teaching qualifications and also relevant SEN experience. The role will vary day to day and the school are looking for someone who can make a real difference in the children's lives, someone who is robust while also of a caring nature.

Requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification

• Relevant Reception (KS1) teaching experience

• SEN experience with ASD

• High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
