Y3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
A warm, welcoming school in Chichester is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 3 class. The role will start on a full time basis from April 2024 and is needed until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going permanent.

Duration: Until the end of the academic year

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- Assist with the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment
- Lead intervention groups for core subjects where appropriate
- Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians
Role Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or SEN would be beneficial but not essential
- Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and, most importantly, little learners
