Welsh Teacher Role in RCT

• Full Time for 2 Terms
• Pay up to £600 per week
• Heavy focus on Continual Professional Development

One of our partner schools has an upcoming vacancy for the new academic year. The position for Welsh Teacher within the Rhondda Cynon Taff LEA. As a dynamic Welsh Teacher you will add value to this growing faculty. You will have the skills to work with multiple abilities as the levels in the language vary throughout the age groups. The successful candidate will be confident enough to manage challenging behaviour and posses a clear understanding of the Welsh curriculum.

The School and Position

?Position covering two terms

?Welsh language teacher within an English medium secondary school

?Pupils aged between 11-19

?Medium sized school

?Strong presence within the community

The successful Welsh Teacher and the role:

?Hold QTS status including NQT’s

?Have experience of teaching with the Welsh language

?Show a passion for teaching and the capabilities to teach mixed abilities

?The understanding and the ability to work with children with challenging behaviour

?Registered with the Education Workforce Council

?The suitable candidate will have strong subject knowledge as this role does require detailed awareness of the national curriculum

?Positive record of student development, subject knowledge and classroom behaviour management skills are desirable
