Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Neath who are looking to appoint a full-time Welsh teacher for a maternity cover starting in June. You will be required to teach Welsh up to GCSE level and will be responsible for the planning and marking of lessons and work. The school is a mainstream school with pupils aged 11 – 16, and is easily accessible from the M4 motorway and has strong public transport links.

We welcome both newly qualified and fully qualified teachers to apply to this position. Experience teaching Welsh lessons to GCSE is essential, as you will be helping students in preparation for their exams. You should possess strong classroom management skills, be familiar with the current curriculum and build strong rapport with pupils and motivate them to achieve the best of their ability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
