Pay: £89 – £110 per day based on experience (paid weekly)

Are you a confident Welsh speaker who enjoys helping children learn and grow? A warm, supportive primary school in the Bridgend area is seeking an enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join their team this January.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to promote pupils’ learning through the Welsh language while gaining valuable experience in a classroom setting. No formal qualifications are required — just a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting children.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support in Welsh

• Help prepare classroom resources and activities

• Encourage, motivate, and guide pupils to build their confidence

• Assist with supervision during lessons, activities, and break times

What We’re Looking For:

• Confident Welsh speaker (spoken and written)

• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• A proactive, can-do attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
