Teaching Assistant – Make a Real Impact in the Classroom

Locations: Rhondda Cynon Taff | Merthyr | Caerphilly
Contract: Full Time and Part Time  — Until End of Academic Year
Pay: £89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)
Start: As soon as possible

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning styles and additional needs (ALN)

  • Helping teachers bring lessons to life through practical classroom support

  • Delivering focused one-to-one and small group interventions

  • Encouraging confidence, engagement, and positive behaviour

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning space

  • Becoming a trusted adult presence for pupils who need consistency

Requirements (We Help You Get These)

  • Education Workforce Council registration

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

  • Two years of references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
