Position: Secondary School Teacher (Welsh-speaking)
Location: Newport, Wales
Sector: Welsh Medium Secondary Education
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: £166.32 per day

Teaching Personnel is actively seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Welsh-medium Secondary School Teacher to join a vibrant school community. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Welsh in line with the current secondary school curriculum

  • Maintain excellent classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment

  • Track and assess student progress to support continuous development

  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  • Prepare tailored learning materials to enhance student engagement

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)

  • Valid right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (child workforce)

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

  • Two recent professional references within the last 24 months
