Calling all NQT's and experienced teachers looking for a career within Welsh medium schools!

Teaching Personnel are eager to register a committed, enthusiastic and friendly teacher, who has the willingness to travel to a range of Welsh medium schools across Newport, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Caerphilly and Cardiff areas. Whether you specialise in Key Stage 2, Foundation Phase, or secondary teachers who wishes for a new challenge, register with us; we have work for you!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have recognised Teaching qualification including QTS;
  • Be registered with the education workforce council;
  • Ensure a high standard of teaching;
  • Will communicate proficiently in the Welsh language, both verbally and in writing;
  • Have experience using a range of formative assessment to assist the learning from day to day;
  • Possess excellent ICT skills and use it effectively to promote the quality of teaching and learning within the classroom;
  • Be eager to work as a part of a team, creating a positive and enthusiastic environment with those around you.

Applicants must :

  • Have recognised Teaching qualification including QTS;
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border
  • Provide at least two professional or character references
  • Be available to start on short notice
