Unqualified Teaching Assistant

We’re recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support high-need schools across Greater Norwich. These settings work with pupils who have additional learning, social, and behavioural needs and require strong, reliable adults who can provide structure, consistency, and positive influence every day.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your presence truly matters.


The Role

  • Support pupils with complex academic and emotional needs

  • Reinforce structured behaviour and learning plans

  • Assist with classroom tasks including literacy and numeracy

  • Manage challenging behaviour with calm authority

  • Help maintain a safe, focused learning environment

  • Act as a dependable role model

You may come from education, youth work, residential care, sports coaching, behaviour support, or childcare.

Driving Essential

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. Flexibility to travel across Greater Norwich and surrounding areas is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
