Two SEN Teaching Assistants Required in Farnworth

Are you looking for a new opportunity to help SEN children in mainstream Primary School access a full and quality Education? Do you have experience supporting pupils across KS1?

If so a larger than average primary school located in the Farnworth area of Bolton is currently looking to appoint two Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across KS1 with specific EHCP plans. As part of this role you will be working on a 1:1 small group and general basis. Therefore this role will require someone who is able to build positive relationships, have a calming and nurturing approach to what they do and so one who is able to be adaptable as no day is guaranteed to be the same.

Requirements:

• A passionate, engaging and motivated personality
• Transferable skills i.e sports, art, and academic
• Hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working/volunteering with children
• Ambition for career development
• High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
• The willingness to immerse themselves in all aspects of the school, extra curricular etc
