Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant (KS3–KS4, with KS5 opportunities)
Location: Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Sheffield, supporting students with additional needs. There is also the opportunity to work with KS5 learners for suitable candidates.
We have full-time, part-time, and flexible roles available, making this an ideal opportunity to fit around other commitments. Immediate starts are available, although flexible start dates can also be accommodated.
The Role:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Working across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 involvement
- Assisting teachers with classroom management and learning activities
- Helping students to engage, progress, and achieve their full potential
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
- Experience supporting SEN students is highly desirable
- A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
