Teaching Personnel are looking for a tutor to work 1:1 with a vulnerable Year 11 student who lives in the LE3 area of Leicester. The student requires Maths and English tuition however they are likely to be working at Functional Skills Level rather than GCSE curriculum level.
We are looking for a tutor who has experience with vulnerable children and is sensitive to the needs of children who present with Attachment Disorder and have experienced Trauma.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Fully Qualified with QTS
- Experienced tutoring vulnerable children
- Experienced working with children who present with Attachment Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
- Confident to manage challenging behaviour
- Confident planning and delivering work which is engaging and creative
- Willing to write weekly feedback and monitor behaviour regularly
- Able to communicate effectively with parents, carers, social workers and other school staff
This role is part time and will be on a sessional basis potentially for 2 full days per week, but this may be flexible depending on the student's availability
