Tutor

Teaching Personnel are looking for tutors who specialise in delivering Maths, English and Science to students who need support in the build up to their GCSE exams. We have a high demand for pupils that need booster sessions in order to help raise attainment. The work will be based nearby to wherever the student lives or whichever school they attend, so we will find work that is as local to you as possible!

The hours are flexible and sessional depending on your availability so this type of work is ideal for those looking to gain part time work as a tutor or those who have childcare commitments!

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

• A recent Maths, English or Science Graduate OR a Specialist Core Subject Teacher
• Confident to work on a 1:1 basis with students who may be very disengaged from education#
• Someone with a proven track record of being able to raise attainment levels even for those who are disengaged or working below the National average.
• Able to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that progress is tracked on a regular basis
• Someone who can act as a positive role model to help the students re-engage with their education.
• Someone who is able to boost self-esteem as well as help students in making academic progress
• Able to differentiate using creative, innovative learning resources and adapting to suit the student's learning style
• Willing to produce weekly feedback reports to monitor and track progress of the student
