Tuition available from September 2021 onwards

GBP20/hour - GBP25/hour pay rate; Teaching Personnel is a PAYE company (no umbrella company)

I am looking for tutors who have experience of delivering the national curriculum for English AND maths up to either functional skills or GCSE level to join Teaching Personnel’s Tuition Service.

We supply tutors to local authorities in South London to work 1:1 with students who require access to education.

** Most students are secondary age and NEET (not in education, employment or training)

** Most students will require functional skills English and maths

** Locations include libraries, family homes, foster homes, children’s homes and on site at schools in primarily the Greenwich, Lewisham and Bexley areas

** Most students require two hours per day, 5 days per week of tuition. You can take on more than one student at a time if you want more hours of work per day/per week

** Reasons that students are out of education include permanent exclusions, mental health difficulties including anxiety and depression, special needs including autism, ADHD, ODD, and children who are new to the borough, including looked after children who are coming to new foster placements

Applicants with teaching qualifications (PGCE, PGDE, PTLLS, DTLLS, DET etc) are highly desirable, although this is not essential if you have previous tuition experience and an alternative higher education based qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
