Tutor (Intervention)

Teaching Personnel are looking for Fully Qualified Teachers who are looking for flexible work, to register as bank staff.

The Role

We work with a number of schools such as mainstream, catholic, Pupil Referral Unit's and SEN schools, as well as Local Authorities and are often requested to provide intervention or tuition to young students who need extra support with their core subjects such as Maths and English.

Many of the students who require intervention sessions will have additional needs, such as SEN, SEMH or EAL. It is essential you understand how to tailor your approach around challenging behaviour whilst still achieving improvement from the student.

You

You must be Qualified to teach or have extensive experience in tuition with relevant qualifications to support this.
The work is available on a flexible basis, and can be a couple of hours per day during school hours, and may take place either in a school, in a local community building or the student's residence.
This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to pick up extra hours work to fit around other commitments, as work cannot be guaranteed.

Please be aware that all applicants must have an enhanced, child workforce only DBS which is registered to the update system, or be willing to obtain one.
