Now Recruiting: English Tutor (QTS) – Tattershall | £25–£30/hr | Flexible Tuition Roles

If you're a Fully Qualified English Teacher with a passion for unlocking potential through language, we’d love to hear from you. TP Tutors is looking for a confident, compassionate educator to support young people in Tattershall and the surrounding area who need that extra push — whether they’re tackling Shakespeare, persuasive writing, or just trying to believe they can.

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group English tuition across KS3–KS4 (some KS2 possible)

  • Support learners with gaps in comprehension, structure, confidence or curriculum access

  • Work in schools, homes or community settings — sessions built around your availability

  • Flexibility around full-time, part-time or ad hoc work

  • Referrals may include SEND, SEMH or pupils on reduced timetables

What You’ll Need:

  • QTS or equivalent

  • Strong curriculum knowledge in English (Literature & Language)

  • Creative and relational approach to planning & delivery

  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)

  • Up-to-date safeguarding

  • Driving licence beneficial

Pay: £25–£30/hr via PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
