Job description

SEN Tutors Required – Rainham

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide tailored educational support for children and young people in Rainham and surrounding areas.

Position: SEN Tutor

Location: Rainham and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible full-time and part-time roles available

Key Duties

  • Deliver engaging and tailored tuition sessions
  • Modify learning approaches to meet individual needs
  • Support emotional wellbeing and learner confidence
  • Encourage participation and positive learning habits
  • Track student progress and adapt support plans
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and professionals when appropriate
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience supporting children or young people desirable
  • Backgrounds in education, tutoring, mentoring, care, or youth support welcomed
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and organised
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Able to travel within the local area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
