Job description

Support Individual Success Stories – SEN Tutor (Maidstone)

TP Tutors is seeking motivated SEN Tutors in Maidstone to provide one-to-one tuition for learners who benefit from additional support outside mainstream settings.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Maidstone and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time roles available)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to individual students
  • Support learners with needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Help build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude to learning
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit a variety of learning styles
  • Provide sessions in home or community settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach
  • Ability to travel within Maidstone and surrounding areas
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
