Job description

TP Tutors is actively searching for dedicated and inspiring tutors in and around Nottinghamshire to provide personalised educational support to students on a one-to-one basis. We have an urgent need for specialists in English, Maths, and Science subjects, and we encourage applications from diverse backgrounds for both primary and secondary level tuition.

Our clients require tutoring services for various reasons, including overcoming behavioural issues, addressing emotional needs such as anxiety or school phobia, managing medical issues, tackling learning difficulties, supporting communication and social needs, or awaiting relocation. Additionally, our tutors may be tasked with improving student grades or preparing students for GCSE examinations.

To qualify for this role, the ideal applicant should have experience working with primary or secondary aged children, particularly in a tutoring capacity. Essential skills include the ability to manage challenging behaviour, develop creative lessons tailored to students' needs and abilities, approach work with kindness and patience, establish positive relationships with pupils, and maintain professional boundaries.

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00.
