Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home/School Setting)
Location: Northampton
Hours: During school hours (flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are currently looking for dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Northampton area. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one tuition either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

You will work with students who may require additional support to improve academic progress, build confidence, and re-engage with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs
Monitor and report on student progress
Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Liaise with parents, schools, and support staff

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring)
Strong knowledge of core subjects (English, Maths, or Science preferred)
Ability to engage and motivate learners
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience supporting SEN or EHCP students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
